Ahatakáhǝtn . Ahatakáhǝtn . Wiwitiutǝ́takaritn ,
Ahatakaáhat . Ahatakaáhat . Wiwiti’uttátakaarit ,
She got down . She got down . Now she stood on the floor ,
hiahakusáhkišiwakta . Kuwituruhúu hawarákusa .
hi ahakusaahkiciíwakta’ . Kuwituruuhú’u hawá rákuusa .
and the bed creaked . It appeared thus also his lying there .
Híahutapĩ́ta   ahǝ́ksuta hiwihiruahísa .
Hi ahuúta piíta   ahaáksuuta hi wihiru ahísa .
And he did it the man : he reached his hand over and there he lay .


Hiruahiwáku , “ Ári ! kútisa " . Ahawáku ,
Hiru ahiwáku’   “ Ári’   kútiisa . " Ahawáku’

“ Hã́ ! " . Ahawáku   “ Iriwitúrahi   Iriwitúrahi

ruutúkstaahu’ raahúriitat   riíciwaaruksti’ . Hi ahaárit

níšiwaruksti . Ahawáku   “ Kistǝtarušu , šáhiks
riíciwaaruksti’ . Ahawáku’   “ Kístattaruucu . Cáhiks
the sword . He said : “ You (pl) make a fire ! A person
titakutíhahuka " . Hiruirirahíwaturu ,
títaku tiíhaahuuka’ . " Hiru iriirahíwatuuru

hiwiaháritpĩ́ta , wítira níšiwaruksti .
hi wi’ahaárit piíta . Wítira riíciwaaruksti’ .
and he stood the man . He had it the sword .


Ahawáku   “ Náwa , witatákutitn " . Ahihtariwíkus ,
Ahawáku’   “ Ráwa , witatákuutit . " Ahihtariwíkus ,
He said : “ Now , now I'll kill you . " A big fire was made ,
hiwihirúahararitn   ĩ́kaa ! kuwítihtn .
hi wihiru ahaárarit , iíka’a , kuwítiíhat .
and there he stood over there , oh my , he was tall .
Hiwiahakíkǝtn , níhuksukuhutíritn níšiwaruksti ,
Hi wi’ahakíkat   ríhuksu’ kúhuutiirit riíciwaaruksti’ ,
And now he cried   just he saw it the sword ,
hiahawakarahkáaspĩta , iriwíahakikǝtn . Náwa ,
hi ahawakaraahká’as piíta , iriwí’ahakikat . Ráwa ,
and he he cried loudly the man , the one who cried . Now ,
híruahapĩta   ahitiksuríkutn . Híahuta  
hiru ahaá’ piíta , ahiitiksuuríkut . Hi ahuúta  
then he came the man , he took hold of his hand . And he did it :
