Now I am going to tell about long , long ago the things that happened when they migrated this way.
wah tiwenatuunaa- kiítIhu ačitaánuʾ niikohnáʾIt
Now the ones I am telling about tribe whatever one it was
tsu neetuuNAt- kóʾ nuúxU -- kuúNUx teeWIsítIt kuwituuxAxaáʾA.
but I heard it from him the one who was -- Bear Goes Out he was named.

Now when they were traveling as a group when they came as a group this way

Where the village was young men two then they (du) went hunting.

As they (du) were hunting there was a valley.

Then they used to come out of the brush deer right here where this (type of valley) was.
šohnačitákUx witiʾaanúʾ hiíš.
As they (du) sat on top it was becoming evening.

noowitiwaákoʾ aráh hásI.
Then he said: "Say, look!
číkuʾ wekutatuuteéRIt.
I see something.
čiraa- síhWA
Let's go! "

nooWIšititawiraáWA.
Then they (du) went down.
iiʾAhnawaraahuusáxA wititsá čipít AhnahUsAhaanoótA.
Where the trees were in the valley there was water a spring where the valley was.
na inoowitiišá kuúNUx uu AhnakatAkaaráxA.
And there there lay a bear, oh, as it lay on its back.
atíštIt Ahnoowitítka AhnitkAxkataRAxaáhu.
Well (ie soundly) it just slept as it snored while it slept.
wešohNUtčiríkUx AhnapastákUx áxkUx wiítA noowitoohwaátaʾ.
While they (du) were looking at it its vulva being exposed, one man then he got an erection.

"Say, let me copulate with it!"
